Oh wow! I can't believe it is already officially the Holidays. I like to call them Holy Days because I believe Thanksgiving means giving Thanks to our Heavenly Father for all of our blessings, and Christmas is the loving gift of God to us. How disappointing it is to see Thanksgiving swept into Christmas with no pause between the two. How can one recieve a gift and not be given the opportunity to be thankful? Well, I'M going to try to be thankful EVERYDAY! Take that, halloween-to-Christmas-media hype! Boo-ya!
Just to show I mean business, while everyone else is displaying their latest Christmas Card inspirations (and don't think I haven't created a few of my own), I am posting my Thanksgiving album using Basic Grey's Pyrus collection. It is ready to be filled in with all of my "Thanks"!
I used kraft cardstock for the front and back covers, and adhered patterned paper. The rest is just cardstock and Pyrus Collection.
Yeah, I broke out the Cricut for the turkey!
I love how the button matched the paper!
I painted the chipboard heart shape.
