Christmas Card Tutorial

Okay, so the turkey is defrosting and now I am ready to start some Christmas card creations! I decided to do a quick tutorial on creating this Snowman card.

First, the snowflake background image is stamped and embossed using white embossing powder.

Next, I stamped and embossed (using black powder) the Snowman Image

The image was colored and shaded using Ranger Distress Inks and my water pen, then I cut out the image with scissors

Time to break out the heavy embossing powder and glitter embossing powder.

Using my Cricut, I cut out quote box and sentiment letters.  The edges of the quote were stamped and clear embossed. Next I decorated with stitches and shading. Lastly I cut out some felt in the shape of snow and adhered it onto the card, and assembled everything. I used pop dots to raise the snowman.

This is just one of many different card creations I came up with.  I will be posting more of them soon! Until then, Praise God from Whom all blessings flow.  Happy Thanksgiving!
