A Little Bit of This and That

My wonderful husband was given the honor of being the guest reader for our local Elementary school "Tell Me A Story" event.  Since both our our boys are teenagers, and no longer in elementary school, it was extra special.  He was so excited.  He read "The Remarkable Farkle McBride" by John Lithgow.  I got to be a discussion group facilitator.  We both enjoyed volunteering at this awesome event.

Each student was given a copy of the book and hubby got to sign each one!

Then they gave him a hard cover copy signed by each student.  It was a wonderful event.

I love seeing him so happy! He had a blast.  

Well, I have been experimenting with Ranger Distress Inks and stamp resist techniques.  I'd finally purchased my blending tool from Michaels and I was ready to get to work.

After I stamped and embossed my image, I played with the different colors and how I would like the image to be.  This is what I ended up with.  

It has kind of a stained glass look I like.  

And last but not least, we have a new addition to our family.  A Shih Tzu puppy named 'Tutto Bene'.  That's Italian for 'All Good'!

He's a perfect fit for our family.  Stay creative ya'll.
