Last Days of Summer

This summer has been amazing!  I enjoyed my 25th Anniversary with the love of my life, went on a WONDERFUL vacation to the Bahamas, survived an earthquake AND a hurricane!  If God hasn't been good to me...I don't know what to say! I only wished I had blogged more as it happened.  As it stands I'll have to catch up somehow...or just let it go and move forward. I will catch up on my scrapbooking and cardmaking and move it along.
This has also been a time of prayer, seeking and reflecting about my future.  I really want to enjoy this life and live it to the fullest and not let fear stop me.  How about you?
During Hurricane Irene, I holed up in a hotel and took a few scrapbook supplies and knocked out a few layouts.  Here's one, with dim hotel lighting.  I took my craft paper and pens and art supplies to the hotel with me!

I continued to use my Basic Grey Acapella paper line, and painted the brads with silver liquid pearls from Ranger Ink.

When we returned home, there wasn't too much damage, just a few downed trees.

Then I continued to use my Basic Grey paper supply to make a quick birthday card for my brother.

Behind the door.
Until next time.
