Stamp Resist Technique for Beginners

This is a quick tutorial for beginner stampers and embossers.  It is called "Stamp Resists."

Supplies:
White Cardstock
Rubber or Acrylic Stamp
Versa Mark Water Mark Stamp Pad
White Embossing Powder
Heat Tool
Ranger Distress Ink
Felt or Sponge

Stamp your impression onto white cardstock using the Versa Mark stamp, and emboss using the white embossing powder and heat tool.

Using the sponge or felt (I used a sticky backed felt and mounted it on an acrylic block) dab in Ranger Ink and 'rub' the ink color onto your image.

You should get something like this!

After you've applied the ink onto the image, cut it out, and you're done!
I used 3 different colors from Ranger Ink - Tattered Rose, Broken China and Tea Dye.

A quick layout of my Anniversary Cake! Enjoy!
