Altered notebook

Well I cannot believe I have taken this long to post.  But here I am.  It's a new season, it's a new day.  I have been very crafty lately.

I decided to make an altered notebook:

I began with a white, fabric butterfly from Michael's for inspiration.  I decided to use Perfect Pearls Mists in Interference Red to make it pink.

This is the before and after

Nice and pink! now I embellished using paper from K&Company

I lined the notebook and glued it down.  Added inking and flowers and lace...very girly :)

Next a brad and pearl swirl

a little label, and a rub on

And I have a new journal! I added the Thank You rub-on, because a lot of my entries end in 'Thank You, Lord!'
