Scrapbooking and Honoring The Past

I have papercrafted a few handmade cards and even sold a few at our church yard sale!

Tomorrow we will honor those who have fallen or served for our nation's freedom. It is Memorial Day weekend.  My family will travel to Arlington National Cemetery where my father-in-law is laid to rest.  We will also visit the site of my mother, who lost a different kind of battle to cancer last year.  It is a somber time, but also an opportunity to reflect on the strength, grace and faithfulness of God...

In the meantime, I was able to find a little time to create, as we prepare for our next adventure.

I am expecting a Cosmo Cricket paper kit soon.  I'll use these to document the actual move.  So much to do...so little time.  For the next couple of weeks, I am going to attempt to 'digi-scrap' my sons' high school memories.  It should be a quick and easy fix to the fact that I am so behind on documenting his growths and achievements...they grow so fast!  Till next time, always remember,

Be it slave, or soldier, or Christ Himself, freedom is never free.  Honor those who went before you and shed blood for your freedom.
