My friends tease me because I love to make most of my own embellishments. They whip out their layouts, while I am sanding or inking or painting, or waiting for something to dry. That's okay. We all have to do what we enjoy. I could use a little speed though. I figured out how to make a quick flower bud using only one glue dot. Here's how:

Grab one pop dot and your ribbon (light weight)

Only peel one side of the tape off on top of glue dot

Fold one end of the ribbon under and press onto the glue dot to get started. Begin twisting, pressing and wrapping the ribbon onto the glue dot. (Don't forget to cover the edges).
When you are done, just peel off backing and tuck ribbon under and place on your layout. Easy!
